Carrie was my father's adopted sister, the daughter of a music hall act with David McMurray and Caroline Packer. They were called 'Loch and Lomond'. Carrie was left with my grandparents as a baby and brought up as one of the Gray family. Carrie grew up and became the 'Great Karina', a dancer/contortionist/singer who toured the theaters in the UK in the 1930's, 40's and 50's.Below are a few of the many stage photographs in my possession.
